Regular chewing of Prozym collagen lamellas helps reduce dental plaque formation and tartar buildup, while combating bad breath in your dog.
Prozym chewing lamellas are pieces of selected, cleaned, cut, and cooked beef hide from Mexico, coated with an appetizing chicken and beef flavored layer. They are particularly appreciated by dogs and effectively stimulate their natural chewing reflex.
These lamellas are coated with a whey concentrate containing lactoperoxidase and potassium thiocyanate. These components are involved in the synthesis of the hypothiocyanite ion. This ion, along with lactoferrin and lysozyme contained in the whey, exerts a bacteriostatic action on germs implicated in dental plaque formation.
